Specialist doctor in Haematology

Haematology is a subject in rapid development, major changes are taking place in both diagnostics and treatment. The department for cancer and blood disorders currently consists of an inpatient unit with 18 beds, an extensive outpatient facility and an ambulatory palliative care team. The section for haematology in Skien is responsible for malignant and benign haematology in addition to lymphomas.

We are looking for skilled haematologist, experienced in bone marrow biopsies and be well versed in the most common chemotherapy regimens in haematological oncology.

• Medical and specialist title recognized in the EU
• European Union citizenship
• Demonstrated knowledge and expertise in the field.
• Good standing and clear criminal records
• Good teamwork, reliability, responsibility, flexibility
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with patients and colleagues
• We do not require Norwegian –  free of charge language course will be provided after accepting the job!
