Ophthalmology Department is part of the county’s somatic health care system and provides specialized eye care for the county’s residents. We have full reception operations in three locations in the county. Our mission is to investigate, treat and operate on diseases in and around the eye. In total, we have just under 100 employees in the county, where several professional categories work closely together with the patient at the center.

Ideal profile:

Specialist doctor in ophthalmology.

We are looking for you who is a licensed doctor with specialist training in ophthalmology. You must have several years of well-qualified clinical service (at least 2 years) with broad and comprehensive knowledge in your specialty. You must also have documented teaching and tutoring experience.

Driver’s license required.

• Demonstrated knowledge and expertise in the field.
• Medical degree and specialist diploma obtained within the European Union
• European Union citizenship or long-term residency permit
• Good standing and clear criminal records
• Good teamwork, reliability, responsibility, flexibility
• We do not require Swedish – language free of charge course will be provided after accepting the job!
