Specialist doctor in Oncology

Experience in gastro, maternal and uro-oncology is desirable. The tasks for a specialist in oncology at the Cancer Clinic in Namsos will be varied and it is expected that a wide range of cancer diseases can be monitored by the specialist.

Duties are mainly associated with the Cancer Outpatient Clinic, but some time must be allocated for supervision of patients on bedside duty.

The position is a day-time position without a shift.

Namsos Hospital is a local hospital for 43,000 inhabitants in the northern part of Nord-Trøndelag. Centrally located in Namsos town, close to bus, boat and airport. The local hospital has functions in most fields with emergency rooms, maternity wards, medical and surgical clinics and psychiatry.

Furthermore, there is a lot of beautiful nature in the immediate vicinity, where there are good opportunities for hunting, fishing and trips. Here you can go straight from surgery to salmon fishing in Namsen within an hour. Namsos can offer most of what you need, and the most important thing is that it is a very good working environment.
